Invalidovna

The Invalidovna endeavor entails the redevelopment of a locale encompassing an established metro station. The community comprises social housing constructions from the 1970s and new office edifices. The undertaking boasts two distinct structures - a residential abode and a co-living facility. The ground floor of these edifices houses various amenities such as a grocery store, restaurant, cafe, gallery, pharmacy, and medical center that cater to the needs of the neighborhood. Underground parking is available, with surface parking relocated to enable the creation of a new urban park. Additionally, the entrance to the metro station has undergone a novel redesign. This community draws its name from the Invalid Military Hospital of the 18th century, with the artwork incorporated in the project deriving inspiration from the edifice's historic significance. It is worth noting that Marani Architects secured second place in the competition.

My role:
-Designing and modeling the metro station lobby in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.
-Preparing floor plans and section drawings of the residential buildings in Revit.
-Preparing the competition portfolio for submission.
